The complex is a magnet for high-technology business development. The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) created a 200+ acre Research Park and Incubator Facilities at the south edge of central campus. The Research Park has three two-story multi-tenant buildings with a total of 173,000 sq ft for lease to corporations wanting to establish research and development facilities in close proximity to UIUC researchers, facilities, and students.
